Functions

• Oversee the implementation of the repatriation project
• Supervise and manage ACF repatriation team in both Georgia and Azerbaijan
• Liaise and network with Georgian national authorities, partners and all other project stakeholders
• Ensure that technical, administrative and logistical management of the project provides the desired outputs and impact
• Design and plan project activities with the ACF project team
• Ensure a community based approach and participatory methodologies in all activitiesMonitor all project activities and results
• Prepare internal and donor reports for the project
• Ensure technical, financial and logistical adherence to donor procedures

Profile

• Masters degree or equivalent professional experience in the fields of humanitarian assistance, development or international relations
• Considerable field experience in cross border return and repatriation programs
• Thorough understanding of repatriation, protection and human right issues
• Demonstrated experience in project/program management
• Knowledge of community development and income generation activities an advantage
• Good communication and training skills
• Proven diplomacy and representation competencies
• Significant proposal writing and donor report writing experience
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capacity
• Common sense and sensitivity to security constraints
• Adaptability and tolerance to stressful conditions
• Team player but with a strong sense of autonomous self-motivation
• Positive attitude and motivational people management skills
• Good computer skills: facility with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email/internet software
• English essential, knowledge of Georgian, Russian or Azerbaijani a considerable advantage

We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

Remunerative Package:

• House and maintenance cover by the organization.
• Formal contract of work.
• Salary: from 1500€ to 2350 € gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience + responsibility plus ( according to standard list of ACF – Spain)
• ACF- Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal
• Travel costs to and from the mission.
• Per Diems.
• 25 working days of holidays per year.
• One week of breaks, (including travel cost to the reference zone, and 200 Euros to pass the week of break).
• Travel and accident insurance and repatriation on account of the organization.

For candidates who are not in Madrid, the first interview will be through telephone. Short listed candidates will have a face to face interview to be held in Madrid. For those candidates selected, all the travel costs will be refund when the first mission is assigned.
