Descripción:

Objective

Responsible for coordination of donor communication, donor reports, internal and external reports. The person will be in charge of the overall management of the AECID "convenio" program.

  • Ensure that all aspects of the AECID convenio project implementation, including technical, administrative and logistical are functioning well providing the desired outputs and impact.
  • Build team capacity in terms of reporting and communications for the whole mission.
  • Lead programme cycle management with a specific emphasis on ensuring technically sound execution of assessments, baseline/endline and monitoring studies.
  • Liaise with technical Coordinators to foster systems thinking and analytical thought among the technical teams in the base.
  • Actively contribute to building the ACF strategy and ensure the development of strategic partnerships, build existing partner capacity and indentify new potential partners.
  • Ensure the application of good documentation practices of program progress at all stages of the project cycle management
  • Ensure adherence to donor rules, including technical, financial, and logistical.

Profile

  • Higher education in sociology, economics, development, anthropology, geography, agriculture, engineering or related fields.
  • Considerable relevant field experience in humanitarian and development programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience in project/program management.
  • Familiarity with the mainstream donors and their procedures.
  • Good computer skills: facility with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email/internet software.
  • Proven diplomacy and representation competencies.
  • Impeccable English speaking and writing skills, and a good level of Spanish.
  • Significant previous proposal writing and donor report writing experience.
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and other documents with a commitment to quality.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capacity.
  • Common sense and sensitivity to security constraints.
  • Adaptability and tolerance to stressful conditions.
  • Team player but with a strong sense of autonomous self-motivation.
  • Positive attitude and motivational people management skills.
  • Facility in capacity-building and knowledge transfer
  • English essential, Spanish required and Arabic is an advantage

We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

Remunerative Package:

  • House and maintenance cover by the organization.
  • Formal contract of work. Forecast duration: A minimum commitment of one year out of the four year convenio duration
  • Salary: from 1500euros to 2350euros  gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience + responsibility plus ( according to standard list of ACF – Spain)
  • ACF- Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal
  • Travel costs to and from the mission.
  • Per Diems.
  • 25 working days of holidays per year.
  • One week of breaks, (including travel cost to the reference zone, and 200euros to pass the week of break).
  • Travel and accident insurance and repatriation on account of the organization.
  • Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old)
